How much does it cost to a listing?

It's FREE!

What kinds of events can be listed?

All types of community events, fundraisers, festivals, classes and more. The event must take place in Chelsea and be open to the public. Event listings are at the editor's discretion.

Who can be included in the directory?

Any business, group, or organization located in Chelsea is eligible for a free listing.

Add an Event or Directory Listing

The purpose of this site is to share information with Chelsea residents and visitors. Therefore, all regular event and directory listings are FREE to list and to browse. Please select one of the following choices, or read below for more information.

How it works

1. Select the type of information you want to add (event or directory listing)
2. Fill in the information on the form
   Include your email address when you fill out the form so we know it came from a real person. This information is strictly for internal use if we have a qustion about the listing, and is not published or used for any other purpose.
3. Click "Submit"
4. Your submission form is sent to our editors for review
5. Once approved by a real person, the listing will be added. If there is a problem with the event listing, we will notify you via email.

How Long Does It Take?

Listings are are typically added within 24-48 hours. Note that this site is run by real people with every day lives, so holidays and other factors may occassionally delay listings. If you'd like to, you are welcome to follow up with us via email.

Who can submit a listing?

Events must take place in Chelsea and be open to the public (i.e. no 'members only' events)

Directory Listings must be located in Chelsea. Exceptions may be requested.

Anyone can submit a listing, whether you're the sponsor or owner or not. Remember, it's checked by a real person before posting and it's free. If you see a flyer around town for an interesting event, or notice that a local business isn't yet listed, go ahead and submit it. Include as much or as little information as you have available.

This 'walkabout method' is the heart and soul of the site, and is how the whole thing got started. It was one person and a notebook, checking out the rock at Pierce Park, the flyers at the library, the bulletin board at coffee shops, etc.
