Chelsea Musical Celebrations Concert - 1/14

This concert will feature The Muse String Quartet, the chamber music quartet of Elizabeth Rowan, Kyoko Kashiwagi, Eva Stern and Kari Ervamaa. They have toured North America, Europe and Asia, taught master classes and served on the faculties at major universities. "Topping Off Ceremony" for the Library Building Project - 1/27

The Chelsea District Library will be holding a topping off ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Friday in the municipal lot near the library building project. This is an old steelworkers’ tradition held when the last piece of steel is put into place. The tradition celebrates the success of the project to date and bestows good luck on the future inhabitants. Enjoy hot beverages and cookies, and sign the beam before it's put into place.
