Resource for Chelsea Voters AvailableInspired by a personal desire to research the candidates and issues on the ballot this year, we have put together a 2006 Voting Guide for Chelsea, Michigan. This contains local contact information, and links to non-partisan guides to learn more about what we will be voting for on November 7, 2006. As a reminder, Chelsea residents vote at the Washington Street Education Center. If you are in the area, but not in the city of Chelsea, you can find out where to vote by calling the city clerk. Go to 2006 Voting Guide. Trick or Treating in ChelseaAs has been the tradition for some time now, Halloween trick-or-treating will take place in Chelsea from 4 til 6 p.m. on October 31. Following, there will be a party downtown in the lot behind the Common Grill, which is sponsored by the Chelsea Kiwanis New Library is almost done!Our long awaited McKune Library on Main St. is just days away from being open to the public. From what I can tell on the library's website, it looks awesome! Check out some of the library photos from October for a sneak peak. The new library will be open to the public on November 13, 2006. The Grand Opening Celebration will coincide with the Chelsea Hometown Holidays weekend, December 1-3. To learn more, visit the McKune Memorial Library website.
